एक और पान मसाला फैक्ट्री पर कार्रवाई ...
अवैध रूप से पान मसाला बनाकर बेच रहा था
कानपुर-: शिखर पान मसाला के बाद कानपुर में एक और पान मसाला फैक्ट्री पर कार्रवाई की गई। क्राइम ब्रांच और खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की ज्वाइंट टीम ने पनकी में छापेमारी कर अवैध फैक्ट्री को पकड़ा। यहां हंगामा पान मसाला के नाम से अवैध तरीके से पान मसाला बनाया जा रहा था। फैक्ट्री में 878 किलो तैयार पान मसाला बरामद हुआ, जिसे खाद्य विभाग की टीम ने सीज कर दिया।
11 लाख का माल सीज
खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग के अभिहित अधिकारी विजय प्रताप सिंह ने बताया कि फैक्ट्री में छापा मारकर भारी मात्रा में तैयार पान मसाला और रॉ मैटेरियल बरामद हुआ। इसमें 2114 किलो कटी सुपारी भी पकड़ी गई। पान मसाला में स्वाद और सुगंध बढ़ाने के लिए 14 किलो कंपाउंड भी पकड़ा गया। वहीं खाद्य विभाग ने पान मसाला और पकड़े गए रॉ मैटेरियल के 5 सैंपल जांच के लिए एकत्रित किए।
रातों-रात बनना चाहता था करोड़पति
ज्यौरा नवाबगंज निवासी अवधेष कुमार श्रीवास्तव प्रभु लीला फ्रेगरेंस के नाम से फर्म संचालित कर रहा था। खाद्य विभाग से अवधेष ने लाइसेंस लेना भी जरूरी नहीं समझा। पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक बेहद कम समय में अवधेष दूसरे पान मसाला कारोबारियों की तरह करोड़पति बनना चाहता था। इसलिए चोरी-छिपे और बिना टैक्स दिए ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों और बस्तियों में पान मसाला बड़े पैमाने पर सप्लाई करता था।
